A unique spin in the social networking arena, Peeps Court combines several aspects of pop culture into a single web based application. Virtual judge, Judge Jason, presides at this online court which will have users addicted to its unpredictable outcomes. Peeps Court is an online courtroom application, strictly built for entertainment purposes, but using real courtroom similarities. To start the process you must submit a "virtual lawsuit" against a friend, archrival, or someone who has done you wrong. You submit your evidence - which can be video, pictures and other items. Your defendant is also notified by email that they are being "sued" and that they need to respond to defend their pride and integrity. Each lawsuit can have multiple defendants and plaintiffs to make for even greater fun. Both parties also have the ability to call in friends to site on the "jury". A spin from your traditional "jury" - this is the court of public opinion - so you need to have more people on your side than the other if you want to gain a victory. A custom designed and developed voting system tracks all of the votes within a predetermined period of time. At the close of that time period a winner is determined based on votes of innocent or guilty. The case remains online for social interaction amongst the parties and through the integrated search found on the site. All comments are visible, as well as, the verdicts that "jury" members submitted.
